Mayme June E. Conley Morrison (1914-2007)
Mayme June E. Conley Morrison, 93, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday evening, Oct. 21, 2007, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.
Mrs. Morrison was born Aug. 4, 1914, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Harve and Gertrude Gillium Elam.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lovell Morrison, in 1987, and a son, Jimmie Edsel Wayne Conley, in 1999.
She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Flatwoods Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Paul D. Conley Sr. and wife Deborah of Ashland; a daughter, Helen Jo Fannin and husband Frank of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a half brother, Maxvil Fryer and wife Roseann of Ashland; a half sister, Mildred Fryer of Ashland; eight grandchildren, Annette Fosson, Shannon Conley, Paul D. Conley Jr., Anthony Conley, Kenny Conley, Sheila Robinette, Steve Fannin and Gerald Fannin; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by John Brown, minister. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, Ohio.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at the funeral home.
