Donna J. Gillum Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1945 - 2008 Donna J. Gillum - 1945-2008 Donna J. Gillum, 62, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in King’s Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. Gillum was born March 8, 1945, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Gladys Mae Hudson Haney. In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Gillum, who died in 2001. She worked in the accounts payable department of Ross Brothers Construction and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are three sons, Billy Joe Gillum Jr., James E. Gillum and Randy F. Gillum, all of Ashland; a daughter, Drema Gillum Swany of Toledo, Ohio; three brothers, Woodrow Wilson Haney Jr. of Ashland, Robert Paul Haney of Toledo and William Allen Haney of Ashland; two sisters, Mary Louise Dickson of Memphis, Tenn., and Deborah Lynn Suttles of Ashland; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many loving family members and friends. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 4, 2008, at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.steenfuneralhomes.com.

Dear Gillum Family, Randy, Billy, James,and Drema. I am very sorry for the loss of your Mother. Though it is hard to let go family members when times like this happens, just keep her memories alive. I am sorry I couldn't be there but I only look at the paper online and I was working late and didn't see it time. If you would like to talk here is my number 931- 436- 1335.
