Lorena Bradshaw (1936-2008)
Lorena Bradshaw, 71, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Monday morning, Jan. 14, 2008, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Mrs. Bradshaw was born May 17, 1936, in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of the late James A. Runyon and the late Mary Edna Cressel Runyon Sanderson. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Otto D. Sanderson; two brothers, Fredrick A. Runyon and Clyde F. Runyon; and three sisters, Callie G. Dickerson, Mary Irene Hunt and Myrtle Pauline Grubb.
She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother who enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Bill G. Bradshaw Sr. of Flatwoods; two sons, Billy Gene Bradshaw Jr. and Gary Lee Bradshaw, both of Flatwoods; a brother, James L. Runyon of Ashland; a sister, Patricia A. Humphrey of Lawrence County, Ky.; two grandsons, Nathan and Jason Bradshaw; and a great-grandson, Landyn Bradshaw.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
