I was so sorry to hear about Bea's passing. Bea was a dear friend of my mother and father... Tom and Eva McCracken. When she moved to the Baptist village my dad was already there and was so tickled to have someone from Ashland there with him. Since his passing 3 years ago I have kept up with her. I actually spoke this past Sunday at the Baptist Village Chapel Service. As she was leaving she gave me a big hug and I said... how old are you now? She said she was 98 and was shooting for 100! I always admired her positive bright personality. She was so sharp and I loved talking with her when I would visit. She will definitely be missed. But I will say I smiled a bit when I realized she had entered into Glory and was reunited with her husband and other family members and friends. I can just hear her telling my Pop now... your daughter just spoke at the chapel service last Sunday! :) I know that will make him smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
