Hello,
Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It seems like just a few years ago we all laughed and shared evenings together. I remember coming and sitting on the side porch and talking with Phyllis many evenings while she was resting after fixing dinner or while she sat in the sun. You are in my prayers. I wouldn't give anything for the wonderful childhood memories I had and your family was certainly part of our neighborhood memories. Hope all of you are doing well. I lost dad in 2001 to colon cancer and mom is still living here in proctorville with me. She is a dialysis patient now for 5 1/2 years but is a real fighter. Your obituary shows many grandchildren...good luck with them. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren so far Our prayers are with you. Love Pam & Nancy

Mark -- my deepest sympathies to you and your family. It has been a long time and I don't know if you remember me. My father-in-law was at woodland oaks, and I would speak to your mother occasionally, she didn't know who I was but I remembered her. I just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Absolve, we beseech Thee, O Lord,
the soul of Thy servant Phyllis
from every bond of sin,
that being raised in the glory of the resurrection,
she may be refreshed among the Saints and Elect.
Through Christ our Lord.

So very sorry to read of your mothers death. We worked together at Pollock's (1977-1984). What a very fine person she was. So very cultured and warm. I can remember how much she enjoyed going to the Paramount for the arts. Heaven has definitly received a very special lady. With Deepest Sympathy, Clair
