Imogene Freeman Huff Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1919 - 2008 Imogene Freeman Huff (1919-2008) Imogene Freeman Huff, 89, of Cannonsburg, Ky., died Monday evening, Feb. 25, 2008, in Kissimmee, Fla. Mrs. Huff was born Jan. 30, 1919, in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of the late Ernest E. Freeman and Eunice Ross Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Coles Huff, who died in 1988. She was a devoted homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Daniel Huff and wife Renee of Grayson, Ky.; a daughter, Nancy Puckett and husband Ken of Kissimmee; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Stan Williams. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions in her memory be made to a favorite charity. My condolences to the Ms. Huff's family. She was a treasure of a neighbor while growing up next door. Her kindness and smiles will be deeply missed by each of us. I pray that God's abundance of love will be with you every step of your day and sheltering you in His loving arms so that you will always have sufficient amounts of His amazing grace to carry you through difficult days leaving you only with peace in the days that follow for now and always. Just a short note to say hello and sorry to hear about your Mother. Mother passed away in 2001. We are lucky, our Mothers loved us dearly.
