Nelle Mae Litteral - 1910-2008
Nelle Mae Litteral, 97, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday morning, April 9, 2008, in Community Hospice Care Center.
She was born April 25, 1910, in Riceville, Ky., a daughter of the late Fred and Trinnie Fairchild Rice.
Mrs. Litteral was also preceded in death by her husband, Crate G. Litteral, in 1997; and two daughters, Betty Jean Webster and Leda Jo Hatley.
She was a devoted homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Cannonsburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Rae Nell Bennett of Snellville, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Ralph Felty Jr. of Tampa, Fla., Connie Ashley of The Villages, Fla., Deena Reeves of Ashland, Robert S. Bennett of Westmont, Ill., R. Shelley Bennett of Snellville, Kimberlee D. Fisher of Jefferson, Ga., and Cindee L. Miller of Buford, Ga.; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Jim McKenzie. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
