Jean Blevins Powell Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2008 Jean Charlotte Powell (1928-2008) Jean Charlotte Powell, 80, of Walton, Ky., formerly of Ashland, died Sunday evening, May 4, 2008, in St. Elizabeth-South Medical Center in Kenton County, Ky. She was born Feb. 11, 1928, in Boyd County, Ky., a daughter of the late Arthur and Carrie Davidson Blevins. She was a retired LPN with the Kings Daughters and Sons Home for the Aged and a member of the Walton Senior Center. She will be forever missed by her dear friends in Ashland and Walton. Surviving are a daughter, Jenny Poole and husband Robert of Edgewood, Ky.; a granddaughter, Morgan Poole; and an aunt, Virginia Hanners of Ashland, Ky. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. today, May 7, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. A committal service will follow at Ashland Cemetery. Jenny, I was so sorry about Aunt Jean's death. I know she is with her brothers giving them heck. Aunt Jean was one of a kind. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
