My heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Scott. It was an honor to have known him and participated in his care.I first met Scott through his Mother while working in dialysis at Cabell Huntington Hospital and then again during his illness. Both were kind and caring people with deep love for the Lord.I am sure they are together in heaven.

Kim, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have had the pleasure of knowing Scott over the past few years and he was a great person. I know how much he thought of you and his family. I was always amazed at how positive he was, even though he had been through so much. Scott will be missed by every person that he came in contact with because he had that type of personality. If there is anything that I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.

Kim, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We will never forget April 6, 2008, when you and Scott came and blessed us greatly. I can only imagine Scott signing for that heavenly choir now. Scott, take your rest, you are no longer suffering. We will miss you, but we know that you are present with the Lord. Kim, if you need anything, please know we are only a phone call away.

We very sadly regret to hear of the loss of Kim's husband, Scott Colburn. He was a very sweet person. It was always nice seeing him stick so closely to Kim and the kids. He always had a smile on his face and a hug on his arm. Our prayers and hearts go out to you. I know we don't see each other as often as I would like, but please know that we love you and appreciate you & the family very much.

Dear Family Members, I was so shocked to read the notice in my Lexington paper today. I was Scott's teacher... three years in elementary school at Johnston Elementary School. I last spoke to Scott and the family at the Golden Corral in Russell. He was telling me about his plans to go to school and how hard it would be to be away from you all. I have since moved to Nicholasville KY. I also had William and Ethel in school. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Scott always had a special spot in my heart. Dawn B. Despite Scott's health condition, he was a very involved student at ACTC. I wish there had been more people like Scott with which to work. My prayers are with his family.
