Debbie ... I heard thru the Ashland "grapevine' about Jerries death, and know the feeling of your loss, as Goldie died four years ago this summer and was 88 also at the time. I think everyone who knew Jerri had to of enjoyed being around her ... and she was a character, wasn't she? Mom always loved her and I'm glad we were all friends at one time in our lives. Hopefully, you are well and from the article in the paper, you have increased your family number by several children and grandchildren. I'll bet Jerri loved everyone of them - just as she did you. My love to you ...

There are very few people in this world, who have the nack to simply make people laugh, exuding an overwhelming sense of JOY and confidence, that just draws people to them. Mamma Sturgill as I have always referred to her as, had this keen ability, and for that I will always remember her for that. She truly is one of a kind and Heaven is getting a treasure. I will remember her always for this, and I can only hope that I will be so lucky to run into her again in my next life. To live life the way she did, I can only be so fortunate.
May God be with all her family and friends at this special time, in her life.

My family and I are so sorry for your loss. We were sad to hear of Jerri's death. Jerri was like a second Granny to me and my siblings. She lived across from my Granny for many years and even after my Granny had to move in with my Aunt, that didnt stop us from visiting with her or her coming to my Aunt Shirley's house to visit my Granny. We stopped by to see her about a year ago and she was doing so well!!! She told us about all of her family and spoke about her grandchildren often. She loved God's creatures and showed us how to treat them. I can only be happy for Jerri now because she is now with her loved ones and all of the Glalow Girls that went before her. May God give you strength during your time of loss. Renee, Dale, and Tiffany, grandchildren of the late Dilly Browning

I'm so sorry to see notice of Jerri's passing. I enjoyed seeing her at the Christmas party
each year and watching how she enjoyed visiting with everyone! I always think of her as smiling or laughing. We'll miss her! Prayers to all. Susan
