Paula: Not for sure if you would remember us or not. You took care of our cats for us back in Ashland. Your father was a good man and a good father. I know he loved you very much. I'm to sick these days to come to the funeral. I just wanted to tell you. Your in our prayers. Tell your mom and little sis Hi for us. Not for sure if they would remember us. Since we haven't live in Ashland since 1998. Bless you Paula, we always care and like you....Steve and Kim Damron

SUE AND FAMILY, OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY KNOWING THAT WE WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE PAUL COMING IN TO THE CLINIC, ALWAYS WITH A SMILE AND A KIND WORD FOR EACH OF US. HE WILL BE MISSED MORE THAN YOU KNOW, AND WE WILL KEEP YOU IN OUR PRAYERS. PAUL GAVE SEVERAL OF US A PEN THAT HE HAD MADE AND OTHERS BOUGHT PENS FROM HIM FOR GIFTS. BUT MY PEN, I WILL KEEP ALWAYS KNOWING THAT I WAS PRIVILEDGED TO HAVE SOMETHING MADE BY HIS HANDS, A GENTLE, SWEET, CARING MAN THAT GOD HAS ALLOWED TO TOUCH OUR LIVES IN SUCH A SPECIAL WAY. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME AND BEYOND.

Its very difficult when someone who was a very good friend in your youth passes away and you haven't stayed in touch. My memories of Paul are the memories of my youth. We were best friends. Sue, I am so sorry I was never able to be in touch on those rare ocaisions that I was in Ashland. I know there is nothing I can say to make things better now. I will carry prayers for you and Paul in my heart.

Sue and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We were very fond of Paul Arthur and always enjoyed our visits with him. His picture reminds us of Aunt Grace. I am unable to attend the service on Thursday due to eye surgery on Monday. I will stay in touch. All our love to you and the family. --Shuff and Hazel

It breaks my heart that he is gone. He will be doing his wood working for God now. He has been sadly missed at First National Bank of Grayson. No matter how bad he felt, he always had a smile & something cheerful to say. He always remembered our birthdays and sent cards. He will be dearly missed. Our prayers are with the family and we will continue to remember him & his family for a long while.

I am so sorry to hear about his passing but he is in a much better place. He was a very kind man and I enjoyed our talks each time he came to the mailroom here at St. Claire Medical Center. I know you will miss this gentle man so much. May God give you comfort.
