Wilhelmena Karnap Tackett (1916-2008)
Wilhelmena Karnap Tackett, 92, of Ashland, Ky., died Thursday morning, Aug. 14, 2008, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.
She was born May 16, 1916, in Ashland, a daughter of the late William F. and Lena Carolina Donta Karnap.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Tackett, who died in 1976.
She was a homemaker and a member of South Ashland United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Kay Fielder and husband Edward of Mount Vernon, Ky.; and a grandson, Wayne Edward Fielder and wife Angela of Frankfort, Ky.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Lance Campbell. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
