Alice Poole Lowe Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2008 Alice P. Lowe (1926-2008) Alice P. Lowe, 81, of Piketon, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, died Sunday at Pike County Community Hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Ercell and Dessie Conroy Poole. She was a telephone operator for GTE, where she retired in 1983. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Poole. Survivors include one daughter, Dessie Lowe of Ashland; one brother, Charles Poole of Ashland; and a sister-in-law, Miriam Poole of Ashland. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. C.J. Adkins. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.steenfuneralhomes.com.
