Gary Bostick - 1945-2008
Gary R. Bostick, 62, of Ashland died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He was born Dec. 31, 1945, in Ashland, the son of the late Robert and Hager Marie Evans Bostick. His loving wife of 45 years, Ida Kouns Bostick, survives.
He was retired from Cardinal Management.
He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Bostick and James Bostick.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Brian and Wendy Bostick and Christopher and Andrea Bostick, all of Ashland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Naomi and Jody Wheeler and Rebecca and Daniel Moore, all of Ashland; two brothers, Mortimer Bostick of Ashland and Johnny Bostick of Rush; five sisters, Carrie Ann Fryer of Rush, Cleo Bullion and Betty Kouns, both of Ashland, Brenda Castle of Flatwoods and Kathy Cordial of Ashland; and one grandson, Brian Bostick.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Steen Funeral Home, 13th Street Chapel, in Ashland with Pastor Ed Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Kouns Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
