Imogene Gene Abrams McCoy (1920-2009)
Imogene Gene Abrams McCoy, 88, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, in Kings Daughters Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Ashland, a daughter of the late S.B. and Dolla Ratcliffe Abrams.
In addition, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alta Abrams Callaway.
She was a retired legal secretary with the former Henderson Dysard Law Firm in Ashland.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy McCoy of Ashland, and a brother, Pete Abrams of Jupiter, Fla.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Rose Hill Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Ike Nicholson and the Rev. Larry Sivis. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
There will be no visitation.
Services are by Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
