William Bill Thomas Little - 1950-2009
William Bill Thomas Little, age 58, of Ashland, Ky., died Jan. 11, 2009, at his residence.
He was born July 29, 1950, in Ashland, a son of the late Augustus and Allene Boggs Little.
He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Carl Hunt.
He retired from AK Steel after 23 years of service in the east processing department. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was an avid UK football and basketball fan.
Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Carol Hunt Little of Ashland; a son, Brett (Becky) Little of Ashland; a daughter, Amy (Chuck) Evans of Ashland; his mother-in-law, Frances H. Hunt of New Tazewell, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Alexander Evans of Ashland, and Sean Wellman and Sydney Little, both of Franklin Furnace, Ohio. He also leaves behind many loving family members and friends.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at the Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Mike Rice. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009 at the funeral home.
