Danny Lee Miller (1952-2009)
Danny Lee Miller, 56, of Ashland, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Jan. 22, 2009, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Ashland, a son of the late William P. and Lottie Williams Miller.
He was also preceded in death by brothers Bobby and James Miller and sisters Joann Forbes, Shirley Adkins and Wanda Williams.
He was a retired dispatcher from General Ready Mix, a member of Ironville Enterprise Baptist Church and loved to do yard work.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Cassall Miller of Ashland; a son, Danny Miller Jr. and wife Kayla of Ashland; daughter Misty Hodges and husband Chris of Russell, Ky.; brothers Mike Miller and wife Kay, William P. Preston Miller and wife Diania, Ronald Miller and wife Nola and Tony Miller and wife JoEllen, all of Ashland; grandchildren Charity Nichole Miller and Robert Christian Hodges; and several special nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Brother Mike Amos and Pastor Jack Salyers. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery in Westwood.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bob Green, Robert Green, Zach Green, Larry Skaggs Jr. and Brandon Kersey.
