It was such a sorrowful moment to hear of Mrs. Southard's passing. I have always held both her and Mr. Southard very dear to my heart. She was a caring teacher and without her guidance I don't believe I would be where I am today. May God hold you in his arms and comfort your family in these times.

Joyce and Family, I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I have so many wonderful memories of your mother helping me through the trials of Algebra and Geometry. I saw her last in 2002 and was able to thank her for her patience with me through high school and share common experiences of being an educator. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. You have truly been blessed by having two wonderful parents who loved you and so many others. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Janet Southard was one of the finest Christians and educators we have ever known. In her, you could definitely see the love of Christ. When I, David, was a student at Rose Hill Christian School, she was one of my favorites because she truly loved her students, and they were her children. She will be missed by everyone she came in contact with. Mary and I pray for her family during this time.

Dear Joyce and family: Carole and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. We have just received an email with this information from Mary Lou Brummitt. We didn't learn of Gary's passing until several months following. It was my joy to work with Gary and Janet during my brief tenure as Music Minister at RHBC, 1993-1996. Please accept our condolences and sympathy. Wayne & Carole Roberts
