Mary Elizabeth Lyons (1922-2009)
Mary Elizabeth Lyons, 86, of Delaware, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, in Delaware Court Nursing Facility in Delaware.
Mrs. Lyons was born May 1, 1922, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Noah Wilson and Sallie Skaggs Fraley.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Lyons, in 1994. She was a devoted homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Priscilla A. Dye of Keizer, Ore., and Billie Elizabeth (Ron) Husted of Ostrander, Ohio; a brother, L.C. (Betty) Fraley; grandchildren Annette M. Haider, Paul R. Cyrus, Rhonda K. (Tim) Coomes and Robin L. (Aaron) Haynes; and great-grandchildren Ashley, Cameron, Lauren, Brittany, Cody, Faith, Dashawn and Chance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Stewart Schneider. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
There will be no visitation.
