Lena Fern Barber Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1917 - 2009 Lena Barber (1917-2009) Lena Fern Barber, 91, of Ashland, died Sunday in Eufaula, Ala. She was born March 6, 1917, in Christian County. Her husband, Russell E. Barber, preceded her in death. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Burial Park. There is no visitation. Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2855 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 110, Dothan, AL 36301.
