Sena Magdlena Gullett - 1929-2009
Sena Magdlena Gullett, 79, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday evening, March 9, 2009, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born July 29, 1929, in Coalton, Ky., a daughter of the late Dallas B. and Hazel Kiger Gullett.
In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Hutchinson; two brothers, Freeman Gullett and Dallas Gullett Jr.; and a sister, Jewel Gullett.
She retired from the King's Daughters Medical Center housekeeping department and was a member of First Baptist Church of Coalton.
Surviving are two sons, Roger (Linda) Hutchinson and Dallas (Laverne) Hutchinson, both of Rush, Ky.; two daughters, Joy (Ed) Cheek of Ashland and Sonja (Donavin) Salyers of Catlettsburg; two brothers, August (Cap) Gullett and the Rev. Bill Carson Gullett, both of Rush; a sister, Myrtle Moore of Ashland; six grandchildren, Roger Jr., Rhonda, Brad, Dallas Jr., Stephen and Misty; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Gary Arrington and the Rev. Dicky Tiller. Burial will be in Coalton Cemetery.
