John Luke Lakes Click for Condolences      Printable Version 2007 - 2009 John Luke Lakes - 2007-2009 John Luke Lakes, 17 months old, of Olive Hill, Ky., died March 7, 2009, in Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. He was born Sept. 12, 2007, in Ashland, Ky., a son of David Evans and Ashley Michelle Lakes, both of Ashland. Additional survivors include his foster parents, Johnnie and Margie Smith of Olive Hill; brothers Christopher Brett Blair, Benny Austin Gee, Cody Smith and Shannon Smith; sisters Megan Evans, Emily Evans and Hailey Smith; grandparents Bill and Doris Parker of Carter City, Ky., Clifford and Shirley Hobbs of Rush, Ky., and Verna Evans of Ashland; aunts Kristi Parker of Carter City and Verna Bowen of Ashland; cousins Kimberly Bowen of Ashland and Lydia Parker of Carter City; and an uncle, Billy Martin Parker of Carter City. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Isaac Smith, minister. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 12, 2009, at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.steenfuneralhomes.com.

hi my name is amber williams phone number 5132617148 this may sound quite strange but i felt i shouldnt leave a public condolence but leave a message for you to give the family i believe john was my nephew i have a sister named ashley lakes that lives in ashland that i was seperated from and could never find as i grew older i would like to send my sympathys to the family and say they are in my prayers
