Jane, As usual, I'm up late at night and catching up on my e-mail. I just wanted to take this time to say how how sorry I am. It is never easy losing a parent. Please take all the time you need to deal with your loss and to renew your family relationships. We will take care of issues at work so please don't worry about time taken away from your job. Above all else, take care of yourself and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Please know you are not alone. God will comfort you in this very difficult time. He assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and resurrected. Soon we will see them again and spend perfect eternity with them. Until then, may the "God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) soothe the pain in your heart.
