Danny Richard Branham, 65, of Ashland, Ky., husband of Linda Hayton Branham, died May 11, 2009, in Kings Daughters Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Boyd County, Ky., a son of the late George and Grace Snell Branham.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dawn Carol Karat Kiser Branham.

He was employed with the city of Ashland as sanitation department superintendent and was a member of Raceland Church of God Tabernacle.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and a stepson, Norman Branham and his wife, Patricia, Jamie Branham and his wife, Kellie, and Rick Fannin and his wife, Sherry, all of Ashland; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Adams and her husband, Jimmy, of Webbville, Ky., and Raenotta Spillman and her husband, Rick, of Flatwoods, Ky.; two brothers and a half brother, Larry Branham and his wife, Loretta, of Ashland, George Branham Jr. and his wife, Helen, of Ashland and Eddie Ray and his wife, Joan, of Parma, Ohio; one sister, Grace Horne of Sarasota, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two great-granddaughters.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Rick Mays and the Rev. Matthew Adams.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Raceland Church of God Tabernacle, 820 Greenup Ave., Raceland, KY 41169.
