I became friends with Jim at the nursing home. I was so impressed with his devotion to Helen. My mother commented frequently that he seemed like such a wonderful man and was so attentive to his wife. We spoke every evening at supper and he always had a smile and never seemed upset or frustrated. I already miss seeing him. It was a pleasure knowing him. Your mother was lucky to have him to care for her. My condolences to your family.

To Jim's family, my Mom was Mollie Kennard at Woodland and I got to know Jim during the time that we were there. Mom ate lunch with Jim and Helen every day and Jim was a big help to me when I needed to raise cain with them down there. I don't believe that I have ever known a more devoted husband before. We should all be so blessed to have one like that. I still think of you all and will pray for you during this very difficult time. What a lovly man your Dad was and I know he will be missed by many people. Peggy Woods

Tammy, I remember the summers we used to ride our bikes together and I popped your bicycle tire trying to fill it with air, I was scared to death to tell your Dad. I didn't know he was a teddy bear on the inside. My thoughts and prayers are with your family today. Love you all.

Dear Linda, Tammy, family, Jim and I supported one another, as we walked the journey with our loved ones at the nursing home. I will miss my buddy, his support, his wit and his winning personality. There is no doubt that he was devoted to Helen - the love of his life! May GOD grant extra strength to each of you, as he keeps you in HIS LOVING CARE. I promise to continue to keep Helen in my prayers. Love to all. Jeani M. Picklesimer
