Morrie was a great cousin. When he would come back to Terre Haute, he would always take time to play catch with me and let me go with him to get his car washed. He used to call me Gordo and never once did he refuse to do something with me, time permitting. Morrie was a great role model and not only a fabulous relative but a good friend. As we all aged we grew distant but only because of miles between us all. I wish I could have talked with him one last time to let him know how much he meant to me. Janet, I pray that our Lord will give you and your family strength through this as the one great thing is that we will all see Morrie again. With out a doubt, Our Lord has welcomed Morrie home. May God continue to bless you and your family. Gordon and Jan Pearson

My most sincere condolences to the Griffiths family. I worked for Mr. Griffiths many MANY years ago as an estimator along with Bill Mitchell and Vernon Honeycutt. As witnessed by others' comments, he was truly a special man. Many can attribute much of what they had to him. His loss will be sadly felt. Blessings of comfort to us all.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Morris and I served on the Tri-State Airport Authority Board together for over 20 years. I found him to always be fair in our dealings and I have counted him my friend. I was saddened to learn of his death and I will miss him as a friend and board member. We have both suffered recently with health issues and because of that and the sudden death of my nephew, I will be unable to attend his service. Please know that you are in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Morris Griffiths as we all have lost a great man. He was my mentor when I joined the Engineering Department of Ashland Oil and Refining in 1957. Not only was he a great Engineer but a great friend and inspiration. He will be missed but long remembered.
