Charles F. Gussler Jr. (1956-2009)
Charles F. Gussler Jr., 53, of Ashland, Ky., died Oct. 1, 2009, in Kings Daughters Medical Center.
He was born June 11, 1956, in Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Gussler Sr., and a son, Charles F. Gussler III.
He was a former employee of Ashland Oil Inc. and of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are his mother, Delores Presley Gussler of Ashland; his wife, Carolyn Nelson Gussler of Ashland; a son, Jason Gussler and his wife, Heather, of Ashland; brothers, Donald Gussler and his wife, Tammy, of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Bill Gussler and his wife, Julie, of Ashland; sisters Beverly Hanshaw of Ironton, Ohio, and Tonya Albright and her husband, Jimmy, of Wurtland, Ky.; and grandchildren Charles Chace Gussler IV, Emily Gussler, Jordan Gussler, Hailey Kelly and Justin Callicoat.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Curtis Cordle. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
