My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Mary and the family. They have indeed lost a dear devoted Husband and Father in Fred's passing. I met Fred while he was working in Ashland's Land Department in 1956. I was a new employee with the Ashland Pipeline Engineering Department where I worked for 12 years and then Fred and Everett Reeves invited me to join them in the Land Department. Fred moved on and upward with Ashland and I stayed in touch with him until he joined Ashland's Coal Company. My fond memories of Fred involve countless hours and days with him in our work with Ashland and he will be missed terribly.
