I just was informed of Mrs. Lowe's passing and I feel the loss heavily. Although I did not have her as a teacher she impacted my family (Green's on Crooks St) tremendously, she educated all of my brothers and sisters and I visited her at times. She was a wonderful teacher and friend and will be greatly missed.

Hi Jennifer, My mom just informed me of your Mothers passing. I am so sorry. I just wanted to let you know her legacy for the love of teaching and chidlren was past on to me. I have been teaching around 20 plus years. Everyday there is a piece of Mrs. Lowe in my classroom. From her sweet smile to the ceramic happy face bank I won for the best United States map Even thought whe will be clearly missed by her family her legacy in the classroom lives on. God bless her family.

Mrs. Lowe was my fifth grade teacher and a beloved friend of my parents. I am sure that the saints in heaven welcomed her with open arms. What a wonderful woman. I learned so much from her and admired her greatly. She made me change my handwriting. She said it was messy and I could do better. To this day I remember that and smile. I know you will miss her.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of this very special lady. Mrs. Lowe was the absolute best teacher I ever had. I'm 52 years old and still remember some of the many things I learned in her 5th grade classroom at Oakview Elementary. I also had the pleasure of being her neighbor 'across the alley' during my childhood.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. As my fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Lowe was my most memorable teacher I ever had. She always cared about her children and made sure everyone got a fair shake. She was friends with my parents from Unity and would come to the house when I was being lazy and I appreciate that to this day. I will never forget what she did for my mom when we went on a field trip to Blenko Glass one time. Much of what I know today came from her teachings. I feel very blessed that I was able to visit with her in her home and share many memories. God bless you Mrs. Lowe, you are awesome.

It was such a blessing to have been able to know Miss Bethel. She made Cindy and I a lap quilt (at age 90, by hand and on her treadle sewing machine) that we will always have to remember her by.

Jennifer, Jim & family -- I am so sorry that I cannot be there. Dean's surgery tomorrow & resultant days in the hospital prevents it. Please know that I will always remember my Aunt Bethel so very fondly & feel so very sad that the last of Addison & Cora's children are now with them, and no longer with us. All my love to all of you -- Debbie
