to Loretta and family - Larry was one of the first people I met when arriving in Ashland in 2002. That kindness that was his nature was immediately evident. Over the years since I have valued his friendship and advice on a myriad of topics. He was a special person, and I will surely miss him. I wish the family the best - through thoughts and prayers - in the days to come. It has been a special pleasure for me to have called him "friend". .....Larry

Shocked and saddened are the both of us upon learning of Larry's passing. A very good man, public servant, caring and considerate, a man of his word, who lived his convictions, and a friend for many years. I have never had any memory of Larry that was not one of pleasantry and fondness. God bless his family for he will be very hard to live without I am sure. We are so sorry and have you in our prayers....Marcus and Sandy Woodward

To my dear classmate and friend, Loretta and her family: I wish I could help you get through this sad time. I met Larry a few years ago and immediately felt a kinship through our shared beliefs. His dedication to Loretta and his family was admirable. My prayer is that all of you will remember the good years you had together and each day will get a little easier to live without this man who was such a part of your life. He is still there--in everything you do, and in your memories he will always be with you. There will come a day when you can think of him and smile. I hope that day comes soon.
Love and prayers,
Elaine Owen
