"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith. Dear Kathy, I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I am so glad that our family has had a connection over so many years. First with your dad being a salesman that came into contact with my mom and dad. Then you and I becoming friends by working together at Kentucky Power. Your dad was an amazing man that always had the faith before anything. He was the true meaning of loving the Lord and living the way we are suppose to lead our lives. You should have peace knowing he is among the presence of God and all the angels (your mom). You should rest easy knowing he is in the place and with person he so believed in all of his days on earth. I love you dearly as a friend even though we don't keep in touch like friends should do. Just know I am with you in my thoughts and prayers during this changing time. I know in my heart that your dad is in heaven and knows he will see you one day. You are a beautiful person inside and out and know your dad was so proud of you! Your friend Always!! Sharon Cripple Slusher
