I am sorry to hear of Della's passing. My 99 yr old mother, Virgie Scott was one of her dearest friends. She used to cut my husbands hair after hours as he did not like to go in the shop with a lot of women there. She was a good friend to all and will be greatly missed.

Della was a very close friend to my mother Virgie Scott. They both loved going out to eat. Della & myself double dated one time & she always laughed about that. I kept in contact with her thr cards & short notes. Della was a lovely person & will be missed.

The surviving members of this Huntington family would like to express our sympathies to Della's family. My name is Judy and her first weekly customer was probably my grandmother, Julia Greenwell. She and Della became good friends during the years, and until a severe heart illness prevented her from going- this was a part of my grandmother's life. As I recall, Della came to the funeral home and did her hair for the visitation viewing. My mother, sister, and I also went to Della for styling and haircuts. She was a talented beautician and a loving friend. Later, as the years went by, my brother went down in the evening to have her cut his hair, because she cut his hair just as he liked. Special thoughts and condolences. The Greenwell Family
