Myrtle Hammes Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1913 - 2010 ASHLAND Myrtle P. Hammes, 97, died Friday in Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 23, 1913, in Michigan. Her husband, Henry H. Hammes, preceded her in death. A private graveside service and a celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 14 at First United Methodist Church of Ashland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1811 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101. Condolences may be made at steenfuneralhomes.com.
