Glenna Marie Harness Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2010 Glenna Marie Harness, 86, of Ashland, Ky., died May 13, 2010, in Kingsbrook Life Care Center. Mrs. Harness was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Lucasville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Smith Gamble, and a son, Edgar Sonny Harness Jr. in 1988. She was a homemaker and valedictorian of Lucasville Valley High School. Surviving are her spouse of 67 years, Edgar E. Harness Sr. of Bellefonte; sons Ronald Harness and Keith Harness, both of Huntington, W.Va.; daughter Rita Smith and husband Roy Allan Smith of Huntington; grandchildren Wendy Hooten and Chris Smith and wife Heather; and great-grandchildren Amanda Salvatore, Rachel Hooten and Elin Smith. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today, May 14, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Wheelersburg, Ohio, by the Rev. Charles Stewart. There will be no visitation. Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.steenfuneralhomes.com.
