Nancy Florence "Flo" Rice of Ashland, formerly of Winchester and Mount Sterling, was born Jan. 26, 1921, in Mount Sterling, Ky., to the late James Pressley and Mary Lula Duff Belcher.
She was educated at the University of Kentucky and a graduate of the former Hanson Real Estate School of Lexington. She was a self-employed Realtor in Winchester and Ashland. Residing in Ashland, she was a member of First Christian Church for many years.
Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene H. Rice; two sisters, Mrs. Rolin Crouch and Mrs. Lucile Harper; and two brothers, Mr. Jay Belcher and Mr. Harold Belcher. Her friend and former husband, John E. Amburgey of Ashland, passed away on May 22, 2009.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Amburgey Duff of Lexington, Ky., and precious grandchildren, Lara Dawn Duff of New York, N.Y., and Lance Alexander Duff of Mexico City, Mexico. She also had many longtime friends and was loved by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, 1501 Central Ave., Ashland, Ky.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Machpelah Cemetery in Mount Sterling.
