Bonnie Donta, 76, of Ashland, Ky., died Thursday morning, Oct. 21, 2010, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.
She was born Dec. 7, 1933, in Boyd County, Ky., a daughter of the late John D. and Alma Louise Keaton Bullion.
In addition, she was preceded in death by a son, Hager Michael Dickens, and a daughter, Judy Dickens Powell.
She was retired from Kings Daughters Medical Center and a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church. She was a loving and devoted homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Ray A. Donta of Ashland; sons Joe (Monica Pennington) Donta of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Alan (Virginia) Donta of Greenup County, Ky.; a daughter, Rita (Trent) Steele of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; brothers John (Tootie) Bullion, Charles (Cleo) Bullion and George (Diane) Bullion, all of Ashland; a sister, Phyllis (James) Hamilton of Ashland; grandchildren Anthony (Laura) Donta, Rodney (Amanda) Powell, Eric Powell, Tyler Dickens and Zach Dickens; and great-grandchildren Jolee Powell, Payton Powell, Elijah Powell and Daniel Jacob Donta.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church by Pastor Mark A. Kloha. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 22, 2010, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
