Linda Lou Lehman, 68, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday evening, Dec. 27, 2010, in Community Hospice Care Center. She was born Oct. 18, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Haskell and Loray Cordle Arrington. Her husband, Charles Richard Lehman, survives.
Linda was a 1959 graduate of Louisa High School and attended Morehead State University. She was a retired federal employee and was a devoted member of Beech Street Christian Church where she was active in the ladies fellowship and choir. She was a loving wife and mother and will long be remembered for her baking and sewing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Melinda McDavid of Nicholasville, Ky., Michelle Blevins of Nicholasville, Ky. and Lisa Blevins of Ashland, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Tammy McCarthy of Russell, Ky.; a stepson, Mark Lehman of Flatwoods, Ky.; a brother, Haskell Arrington Jr. and wife Janet of Ormond Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Delores Setliff of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Ann Kiger and husband James of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Shaela Michelle Taylor, Britnie Mereille Wills, Eric Lehman, Kristin Lehman and Justin McCarthy.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Ken Vaughn. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 29, 2010, at the funeral home.
