Bonnie Irwin Stanley, 82, of Ashland, died Friday, March 4, 2011 in the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born Jan. 28, 1929 in Ashland to the late Cecil Curry Irwin and Maxie Caudill Irwin.
She was a member of Bellefonte Presbyterian Church and Parents Without Partners, formerly employed by Super Moms and Super America, General Telephone and the Cinderella Dress Factory.
She is survived by daughters, Rae Hogsten and husband Lee of Ashland, Bea Stanley of Greenville, SC; brother, Ronald Irwin and wife Pat of Raceland; a special nephew, Charles Michael Irwin and his wife Danita and their children; grandchildren, Ryan Hogsten and his wife Becki and Joe Hogsten; great-great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Carlee.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel by Reverend Harold Cathey. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
