Nancy Stewart, 59, of Ashland, died Monday, March 28, 2011, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
She was born June 3, 1951, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Giles W. and Roberta Banks Kitchen.
She was also preceded in death by sisters Willa C. Barker and Peggy Weaver.
She attended Ashland Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Roger Dale Stewart of Ashland; a daughter, Tammie Jo Stewart Martin and husband Jeff of Ashland; a sister, Nina Kitchen Fields of Ashland; grandchildren Lauren Nicole Martin, William Jacob Martin and Emily Page Stewart; and a great-grandchild, Skylar Raine Hyden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she deeply loved.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. C.J. Adkins.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. today, March 30, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
