Robert M. Vandergriff Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1960 - 2011 Robert M. Vandergriff, 50, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday morning, April 27, 2011, in the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born Sept. 7, 1960. Robert was an employee of Don Hall GM Supercenter in Ashland. The staff there became like a family to him. He will long be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit and willingness to help others. A celebration of Roberts life will be at 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Richard Suman. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to steenfuneralhome.com. It is requested that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Robert M. Vandergriff Scholarship Fund, c/o Home Federal Savings & Loan, 1530 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
