Rosa Neoma Arthur Hall, 70, of Westwood, died Tuesday afternoon, May 10, 2011, in Worthington at the home of her granddaughter.
She was born June 29, 1940, in Westwood, a daughter of the late Simeon and Ruth Riffe Arthur.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Eugene Hall, in 2007.
Neoma was of the Pentecostal faith and an avid bingo player, but most importantly, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a gentle spirit. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are daughters Ruthie (Steve) Boggs of Ironton, Ohio, Sharon (Dennis) Stone of Westwood, Millie (Rick Myers) Hall of Ironton and Sharon (Mike) Zeller of Westminster, Md.; brothers Robert, Everette and Earl Arthur and Vernon Johnson; sisters Bessie "Sister" Nelson, Muriel Meade and Laverne Adkins; grandchildren Erica Meadows, Mandy Meadows, Ashley Meadows, Josh Masko, Kellie Nelson, Meagan Hall, Sharice Stone and Cody Stone, April Zeller, Kaylya Nemeth and Katie Boggs; and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Richard Suman. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery in Westwood.
