Ida Mae Miller, 84, of Ashland, died Monday morning, Sept. 5, 2011, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born May 1, 1927, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Jay and Nancy Lemaster Stapleton.
She worked at Third National Bank for 16 years and was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Ashland.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, the Rev. Owen "Jake" Miller, in 2008.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Miller of Ashland and Mary Taylor and husband Steve of Decatur, Ill.; a sister, Bernice Dixon of Ashland; and two grandsons, Aaron John Taylor and Aaric Jake Taylor.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by David Lynch. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
