June S. Caudill, 101, of Ashland, passed away Friday morning, December 2, 2011 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
She was born May 8, 1910 in Volga, KY, a daughter of the late Lonnie & Samantha Osborn Salyers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oza Caudill; an infant daughter, Okie Mae Caudill; a son, Richard Caudill; brothers, Virgil Salyers, Bert Salyers & Challie Salyers and sisters, Ora Brown & Mae Vanhoose.
June was a longtime member of East Fork United Baptist Church and was a devoted homemaker.
Survivors include her brother, George Salyers of Ironton, OH; grandchildren, Karen Lee Moore, Kathy Cooksey and Amy Dutiel; great grandson, Robert Moore and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2011 at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel by Elder Dewey McCarty. Burial will follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
