Sola Mae Blevins 96, of Ashland, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Community Hospice Care Center. She was born on August 14, 1915 in Auxier, Kentucky (Floyd County), the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lou Fitch Daniels. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband CWO William F. Blevins; two brothers Charles and James Howard Daniels and three sisters, Zora, Jan and Prince. Sola was a homemaker and a member of Old Orchard Church of Christ. She is survived by Sons Larry Joe Pickle & wife Mary of Huntington, W. VA., and Kenneth Blevins & his wife Linda of Ashland, Ky. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and special nieces Sylvia Large and Betty Ruth Curnutte.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum, officiated by Pastor William Kennedy. Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum.
