Shirley Ann Driver Donta, 75, of Ashland, wife of Harold Donta, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 28, 2012, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Shirley was born July 5, 1936, in Allen County, a daughter of the late Louie and Lera Stinson Driver.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wildwood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Harry Jay Donta in 1999.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Donta of Ashland; three daughters, Beverly Slone of Ashland, Donna (Larry) Griffith of Orlando, Fla., and Teresa (Mark) Slone of Ashland; five brothers, Darrell Driver of Bowling Green, Clifton Driver of Bowling Green, Terry Driver of Lebanon, Tenn., Michael Driver of Clarksville, Ind., and Rick Driver of Bowling Green; five sisters, Sue Park of Bowling Green, Gail Harper of Bowling Green, Deborah Gerlach of Wheelersburg, Ohio, Myra Britt of Bowling Green and Sharon Driver of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, by Pastor Tom Leach and Pastor Jim Nichols at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
