Arkella Bernice Simpson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2002 1920-2002 Arkella Bernice Kelly Simpson, 81, of Ashland, formerly of Owenton, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility in Ashland. Mrs. Simpson was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malone Simpson. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home in Owenton. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery. There is no visitation. Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel in charge of local arrangements.
