Darlene Coleman Moore, 70, of Crestview, Fla., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, in West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

Mrs. Moore was born June 30, 1932, in Floyd County, Ky., a daughter of the late Curtis and Zora Roberts Coleman.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Moore in 1985.

She was a retired banker with the Bank of Ashland with 20 years of service and was with 2nd National Bank with seven years of service.

She was a member of Church of Christ in Flatwoods, Ky.

Surviving are a son, John William "Bill" and Jerrie Moore of Crestview; a daughter, Nancy Jane and Norman Carlson of Charlottesville, Va.; four brothers, Sheridan Coleman of Hamilton, Ohio, Stanley Berk Coleman of Bedford, Ohio, and Ora Robert Bruce Coleman and David Ross Coleman, both of Printer, Ky.; three sisters, Annette Satterfield and Noreda Carrington, both of Marietta, Ga., and Stella Lois McCown of Prestonsburg, Ky.; and five grandchildren, Kevin Carlson, Eric Carlson, Sarah Carlson, Ashley Moore and Austin Moore.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by John Brown, minister. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
