Pauline Rose Russ, 83, of Nicholasville died Saturday, Sept. 14, at her home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1918 in Boyd County, the daughter of the late Jesse and Mildred Whitt Rose.
She was the wife of the late Raymond "Boots" Russ.
Mrs. Russ was a homemaker, member of the Redeemed Old Regular Baptist Church and a member of the DAR.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Rose and Urcel Rose; and three sisters, Christine Rice, Irene Rose and Lena Roe.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David Raymond and Linda Russ of Lancaster; nieces Donna Smith of Wheelersburg, Irene Kuyper of Ashland, Reba Grubbs of Flatwoods, Linda Pfaffenberger of Ashland and Rae Trimble of Ashland; a nephew, Leonard Roe of Wheelersburg; five grandchildren and their spouses, Kenny and Karen Russ, Kimberly and Ted Funk, Stephanie Juett, Sean and Tisha Russ and Cathy and Harold Brown; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Steen Funeral Homes-Marshall Steen Chapel with pastor Roy Collett officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Family Cemetery.
