James "Drew" Tackett, 35, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at his residence.
Mr. Tackett was born June 1, 1967, in Ashland, a son of Jim and Karin Whitt Tackett of Ashland.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ashland.
Additional survivors include his maternal grandparents, George and Helen Whitt of Ashland; his paternal grandmother, Hazel Tackett of Oxford, Ga.; a brother, Whitney Tackett of Ashland; a sister and brother-in-law, Megan and Chan Kaylor of Conyers, Ga.; and two nephews, John and Peter Kaylor of Conyers.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ashland by the Rev. Mark A. Kloha, pastor. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chan Kaylor, Whitney Tackett, Tyler Smith, Jim Smith, Randy Whitt and David Fleming.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight, Sept. 16, 2002, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
