Jean Mary Horton, 80, of Ashland died Friday at King's Daughters Medical Center.
Mrs. Horton was born Jan. 18, 1922 in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Hobart Thomas and Margaret McGuire Clary.
She was the wife of the late Ned Horton, who died in 1989.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Ned and Joanne Horton of Diamond Bar, Ca.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Horton and Ralph Felty Jr of Tampa, Fla., and Melinda Horton and Ronnie Ingles of Ashland; a brother, Tom Clary of Jackson, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Seth Credington Ingles and Jordon Ned Ingles, both of Ashland.
She was a state TB health and employment social service clerk, and a member of the South Ashland United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star in Peebles, Ohio, and an active member of The Garden Club in Peebles.
A memorial service is scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday at the Steen Funeral Home Marshall Steen Chapel by the Rev. Donnie McKenzie, with entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the mausoleum.
